Site Grading Plan Reading
Turn a grading plan into ground you can actually cut and fill to, reading contours, cut/fill callouts and grade stakes with confidence.
What you will learn
Every operator eventually has to work from a plan set instead of a foreman's hand signals. This course covers contour lines and benchmarks, cut and fill callouts, grade stakes and slope stakes, spot elevations, and how a grading plan connects to the utility and paving plans around it.
Most of the course is fieldwork - reading real stakes on a live site - backed by just enough instruction to make sense of the plan, so you leave able to set up a cut without asking someone else to check it first.
Who it is for
Must be 18 or older. No prior experience required.
