Utility Locator Technician
Find what's buried before anyone digs into it: electromagnetic locating, GPR basics, and marking to standard.
What you will learn
Every dig starts with knowing what's underground. This course covers electromagnetic locating equipment, an introduction to ground-penetrating radar, utility marking color standards, as-built and record drawing interpretation, and documenting a locate for a crew that is trusting it with their safety.
Most of your time is spent in the field running locates on live sites, not reading manuals. A fast way into civil site work that does not require heavy equipment experience to start.

Must be 18 or older. No prior experience required.
